A special feature of ReaSy is the precise character recognition of stamps even on hot steel and in harsh industrial environments.

This is where our many years of expertise in the steel and aluminium industry pay off. ReaSy® can be used on both cold and hot steel at temperatures up to 1,200°C due to its robust design. In addition, ReaSy is designed for continuous character recognition of moving rails, plates or rail wheels. This enables an ideal use of Reasy in the production of a rolling mill.

It all started in 2012 with an idea. To obtain input data for a CFD simulation under difficult conditions, we experimented with different video algorithms. Using Optical Flow, we were able to develop an application verified by laboratory tests.

This supports our customer Kappa in dimensioning their high-tech ventilation systems. The product was further developed in 2020 and now controls the fans in converter blast furnaces in real time. This helps to reduce emissions. In addition, our system helps to save a massive amount of energy.

We warmly congratulate Kappa on the Environmental Innovation Award [ie:ku] 2017, in which three projects were awarded.

Since 2014, we have been working very successfully with our partner INDECT Electronics & Distribution GmbH. We develop algorithms for the recognition of number plates, cars and people counting.
Furthermore, there is a kiosk and a mobile app for this purpose. There are also numerous web and desktop apps that enable the configuration of parking spaces, as well as an editor for matrix displays that can be used to manage several hundred displays at once.
